SIM Branding (Sim Crawcour Pty Ltd), trading as SIM Branding, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
It applies to our website at simbranding.com.au and to the way we handle personal information across our business. We manage personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions, which cover the terms of ordering from us. This policy deals with how we handle your information.
By using our website or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

You can contact us at:
- Email: sales@simbranding.com.au
- Phone: (03) 6343 3755

What information we collect
When you use our website, place an order, or get in touch, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Billing and shipping addresses
- Order history and details of the products you have ordered
- Artwork files you upload for decoration or printing
- Uniform sizing information you provide when ordering
- Information about how you use our website, such as pages visited and time spent
If you deal with our sales team directly, for example to set up a trade account or request a quote, we may also collect business details such as your company name and ABN. These are collected in the course of doing business with you rather than through the website.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
How we collect information
We collect information in a few ways:
- Directly from you when you place an order, upload artwork, request a quote, or contact us
- Automatically through our website using cookies and analytics tools
- From our sales team during phone calls, emails, and account setup
We only collect what we need to provide our products and services and to run our business.
Why we collect and use your information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfil your orders
- Produce your branded products, including applying your artwork and preparing correctly sized items
- Communicate with you about your quotes, orders, and enquiries
- Provide customer support
- Manage payments and invoicing
- Improve our website and understand how customers use it
- Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations
Payments
At present we do not process card payments through our website. Orders are paid by bank transfer against an invoice, so we do not collect or store your card details.
If we introduce card payments in the future, those payments will be handled by a secure third-party payment provider. In that case your card details would be processed directly by the provider under their own security standards, and we would not store your full card information.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to run our business or meet our obligations. This may include:
- Our ecommerce and website platform providers
- Analytics providers that help us understand website usage
- Our customer relationship management (CRM) provider
- Our email and IT service providers
- Shipping and freight partners, so your order can be delivered
- Production partners who decorate or manufacture your products, with whom we share only the images and artwork needed to complete your order
- Professional advisers and regulators, where required by law
We only share what is necessary, and we expect these parties to protect your information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers we use store or process data outside Australia, including in countries such as the United States. Because we supply customers in New Zealand, some information may also be handled there.
Where your information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Direct marketing
From time to time we may send you information about our products, offers, or news that we think may interest you. We will only do this where you have opted in or where it is otherwise permitted.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at sales@simbranding.com.au. We will action your request promptly.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it work properly, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. Analytics tools give us aggregated information about site traffic and behaviour.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work as well if you do.
How we keep your information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including secure storage and restricted access to systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our products and services and to meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is out of date or inaccurate. Contact us at sales@simbranding.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. In most cases there is no charge to access your information.
Making a complaint
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us at sales@simbranding.com.au. We will look into your complaint and respond to you.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
